A course of treatment is typically 10-12 sessions, spaced no more than one week apart. Noticeable and lasting results vary by individuals but many report changes in as early as the first session. Each person responds differently and is treated accordingly to his or her own unique presentation. After full course of treatments, monthly maintenance sessions are recommended to prolong the effects for years.

Weight Management

Acupuncture greatly increase any other weight control strategy by curbing appetite, quelling cravings, increase metabolism, improving digestion, regulating obesity-related hormones and enhancing the way nutrients are used.
It also strengthens the function of the liver, the organ that produces many chemicals critical for digestion, processing nutrients and breaking down of fats.

Acupuncture for weight loss is best achieved with 10 treatments delivered over a few weeks.
The optimal results can be attained with healthy food choices and exercises.

Hair Loss Treatment

Hair growth can be divided into three phases: Growth, Transitional, and Resting.
For healthy people, approximately 12% of their total hair follicles go into the resting phase, and remains dormant for 1-4 months. However, patients with hair loss, up to 85% of their total follicles go into an indefinite dormancy.

We target and rectify internal heat imbalance, increase blood circulation, and stimulate hair follicles back into their normal growth phase by prescribing herbal medications and implementing specialized scalp care treatments with acupuncture.
The increased blood flow and improved circulation in the skin, which is a common benefit of acupuncture. This help stimulate hair follicles, nerves, and blood vessels on targeted area thus the hair loss will stop and regrowth will begin again with successive treatments.
